Publish through Lyne from your own tools.

1. Get your key

Keys are issued by the Lyne team for a Lyne account. Connect the profiles you want to publish to in the app first; the key only reaches those profiles. The key is shown once: store it like a password.

2. Call the API

Every request sends the key as a Bearer token.

Publish now, or schedule with scheduled_at. One media item makes a post; two to ten make a carousel. "account" picks the profile when more than one is connected.

3. Plug Lyne into an assistant

Lyne speaks the Model Context Protocol, so the same endpoint works in every client that supports it. The assistant gets three tools: list connected accounts, publish or schedule a post, and check a post status.

Good to know

• Instagram today. Other networks open here as they are cleared for outside use.
• Media must be public https URLs. Captions up to 2,200 characters, up to 10 media items.
• Publishing uses your plan quota, exactly like the app. When it runs out, the API answers 402.
• Every call is logged against its key. A key can be revoked at any time.
• Publishing cannot be undone. Assistants are told to confirm caption, media and profile before posting.
